about me //

I’ve spent my career exploring how creativity, systems, and culture connect, and how great design can bring them together.

Right now, I am leading product and UX design for Toyota’s digital ecosystem across web, mobile, and in-vehicle experiences. My team focuses on consistency, accessibility, and speed through an evolving design system that powers everything from shopping experiences to ownership tools.

Before Toyota, I spent over two decades at Vans helping build the brand’s global digital design organization from the ground up. We launched immersive campaigns, mobile apps, and the industry’s first 3D WebGL shoe customizer. Those years shaped how I think about design as both storytelling and systems. I learned how to lead teams that move fast, collaborate deeply, and ship work that connects with people.

I love helping teams balance creativity and clarity, giving them space to experiment but also structure to scale. Whether it’s designing for commerce, community, or emerging tech, I’m most excited when design is both functional and inspiring.

Outside of work, I’m usually collecting something, like records, Japanese sofubi toys, baseball memorabilia, or tinkering with my Moog synth. That curiosity keeps me inspired and reminds me why I got into design in the first place.
