about me //

I’ve spent my career exploring how creativity, systems, and culture connect, and how thoughtful design can bring them together at scale.

Today, I lead product and UX design for Toyota’s digital ecosystem across web, mobile, and in-vehicle experiences. I partner closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to shape cohesive, accessible experiences, supported by an evolving design system that prioritizes consistency, speed, and long-term scalability across everything from shopping journeys to ownership tools.

Before Toyota, I spent over two decades at Vans building the brand’s global digital design organization from the ground up. I led teams responsible for immersive campaigns, mobile apps, and the industry’s first 3D WebGL shoe customizer, helping define how Vans showed up digitally across commerce, storytelling, and community. Those years reinforced my belief that the strongest design teams balance expression with structure and creativity with systems.

I enjoy helping teams find that balance. Giving designers room to explore, while putting the frameworks in place that allow great work to scale. Whether working on commerce platforms, community experiences, or emerging technology, I’m most energized when design is both functional and inspiring.

Outside of work, I’m usually collecting something, like records, Japanese sofubi toys, baseball memorabilia, drawing some doodles, or tinkering with my Moog synth. That curiosity keeps me grounded and continues to shape how I think about design, craft, and culture.
